I’ll be mounting an A/C on top of my 9.5’ cargo van soon. It’s 44lbs and awkward, so it would be nice to use a lift to raise it up after the hole is cut and prepped. BTW, though my van barely makes it into the building, I’ll need to mount the unit outside, since I wouldn’t be able to drive out after it’s on! Or would that violate the rule about not doing any work in the parking lot? After the prep, it should happen pretty fast. I’ve noticed an electric forklift, “Big Joe”, near the blacksmith shop that seems like it could do it. Would it be OK to use it? Otherwise, I’ll have to figure out some other way… Thx
@raceman1590 ? Do you know anything about that forklift?
I’ve sent him a few messages and I have used forklift before. This one is the same just a walking instead of sit in and drive. If he wants to using it outside that might be more challenging due to the weight and pushing it back up the ramp. Inside though easy!
We will need to charge it to make sure the battery is full before use.
The pallet stacker was not intended for committee or member use but if you want to discuss using this for your project it’s under the domain of logistics and the COO, so @Julie-Harris and @Vincent right now.
It lacks powered drive wheels. Getting it down and back up a ramp takes multiple people.
Sounds too difficult. We’ll make do without it, but thanks.
