It looks like I need to download and learn to use inkscape. How hard is it to learn for an old lady with poor computer skills? Any hints that would make it seem less daunting for me?
It’s a little intimidating even for me, but once you learn the principles of vector graphics you should be able to figure it out. As far as I can see there are a few youtube tutorials, you might want to try to go through one, like this:

From a not-so-old-he-likes-to-think not-much-a-lady who is somewhat ok with computers yet struggles with drawing packages of any kind, thank you for pointing out a good tutorial. I have not tried it yet, but some of those I DID look at for Inkscape were crap. So thank you for the link and info!
