Lathe Area Update

Jeff Goodman and I fixed Elroy (a jet 1221 lathe – the lathes were all named after characters from the Jetsons cartoon. Get it? Jet lathes, Jetsons,…. Clever, n’est pas? But I digress). Elroy is now fully operational.

We also got some new goodies for the lathe area, see picture.

And the fine grinding wheel was replaced today! ( I forgot to take a picture).

Unfortunately, Astro is out of commission. Jeff and I will get it operational as soon as parts come in.

Very nice. I am happy to see there will be pin jaws available. Thanks for getting Elroy in commission and for the updated equipment.
