Hey @Team_Laser just a quick reminder
Sunday is laser committe meeting and maintenance day we will start in purple classroom at 11am lots to talk about hope to see many smiling faces there.
What if they show up frowning?
I’ll try to make the meeting but I may not have the energy to help with maintenance yet. Still recovering from Cancer Chemo and Radiation treatment.
Hope to see you there!
For those of us on the Laser Committee who march on our stomachs, may I propose a Cajun/Mardi Gras-themed potluck?
I am happy to try and make/bring a Gumbo, but will readily admit that I am neither Cajun nor Creole.
looks for king cake
Sound like a good theme @Scott_Blevins thanks for the idea.
The Chicken, Sausage, Shrimp and Crab Gumbo is done!
Who’s bringing the Abita beer?
And beads? There must be beads!!!
For those of you who would like to get involved with the DMS Lasers, coming to today’s 11:00am meeting and/or the 12:00pm Laser Maintenance and Cleaning effort is THE best way to learn and become an active Laser member. Hope to see you there!
And we will feed you. Because that’s how we roll.
“ Laissez les bons temps rouler!”
Sorry, but I can’t make it at all. Dealing with some issues that has taken my energy.
Take care and get lots of rest. Until next time!
I’ll be there… 45 minutes late!
@gbeauw
May these issues no longer be, and may all the other issues pressing on you ease.
Thanks John.
It all boils down to getting over initial Chemo and Radiation side effects and then doing Chemo 5 days a month for 6 months and start wearing the http://optune.com electrodes and dragging around the electronics box over my shoulder as much of every 24x7x365 that I can. That means I am fighting off this Glioblastoma Cancer that there is no cure for as long as I can. Hoping to fight it off for as many years as possible could be anywhere from 1 – 5 years (hopefully even more). I’ll be seeing the leading Oncologist on this GBM Cancer. He works at Duke Medical Center in N.C. so I’ll be making that trip the first of April. Hope he finds “the Cure” during the 1 – 5 years I’m doing all that is possible to fight off those evil cancer cells.
