Laser Engraving Metal Ink? Does anyone have some? Or where can I get it?

Does anyone have any of the ink or spray that is used to etch on metal with the laser? Could I use some to try? And/or where can I get it?

Last: Is there anyone who would be available to help me get better at the lasers? Especially with setting up and creating the artwork.

Thanks!

Cermark / Thermark is probably what you’re looking for.
EngraversNetwork (.com) in Arlington is a regional dealer.
cheers!

laserbits.com is an especially good online source. But be forewarned … perusing their site may spark a lot of creative ideas!

A past discussion on Sawmillcreek talked about Cermark consisting of Molybdenum Disulfide which is found in such items as Dry Moly anti seize compound from Locktite and others. Supposedly cheaper but I’ve never tried it. The Thermark works fine.,

This is kinda interesting. It would probably work well if you need to etch large areas, but if you know what you’re doing, the Cermark will be a lot more pro looking. This is REAL cheap though!
