Can anyone recommend a material heavy enough that could be cut by the laser to make poker chips? 39mm x 3.3mm, 10-13 grams each.
Delrin is laserable and durable. Also Acrylic comes in solid colors.
Real casino chips are heeeeeavvy. Acrylic will scratch but I’d guess it’s
your best bet for an even cut. If you get some nice solid hardwood, you
might get more beef out of it though.
My #1 recommendation would be to buy blank chips and build a jig to laser
onto those.
