Update 2: That did not fix it long-term. It seems like the collard on the motor is not locking properly. It semi-locks, but it does not fully snap in so when you start using the machine, it pops out and start moving again.
Update: I finally figured out the problem. The drill bit was not situated all the way in, so it did not lock in place. Instead it moved back and forth maybe 3/8". I locked the bit in place, and now it seems to work.

I am having problems with the pocket hole machine. I set the proper depth, make some pocket holes in a scrap piece and test it. Works perfectly. I then drill 8-12 holes in the actual piece, and they get less and less deep. I adjust again, same thing happens.
Either I am doing something seriously wrong, or there is something wrong with the machine.
I need to get some cabinet assembled today. I have been looking for the manual Kreg pocket hole jigs, but cannot locate them. Anyone know where the box may be? @SWA?
