It sure eliminates the rule for Braille readers to not wear any gloves. With gloves they could not feel the bumps.
As I have often suspected there are QC people that are totally blind.
Jokes aside, I read an article yesterday about manufacturers being able to get government grants/funds to help offset the costs of accesability equipment/facility modifications to be able to hire disabled people for QC and other jobs.
So yes. There legitimately are blind QC inspectors in the workforce stateside. Wether or not that translates to good quality control or not is on the manufacturers processes/training, and equipment.
