Kittens available

If you are looking for one or more kittens give @Shellbell a callout. There are some foundlings that showed up at her clinic. Two are male and one is female.

Adorable! I’ve already got a kitty who hates company unfortunately

An orange female cat is a bit unusual: the orange color is a sex-linked trait on the X chromosome. As a result, only 19% of orange cats are female.

@Shellbell
Are they spayed/neutered?
How much are they?

I would defiantly be interested and can definitely take one,
I already have 2 cats Dakota(female shorthair, stripes), and Waffles(male shorthair, solid black)

Thanks for your interest. They were free and not yet spayed/neutered as they are too young for that procedure.

I’m told they are all going to good home(s) now but should something change we’ll reach out.

Darn, Thanks for letting me know.

There are plenty of other great cats and kittens at any local animal shelter if you’re still interested in adopting another cat :slight_smile:

Farmers Branch Shelter is about 10 minutes away from Dallas Makerspace. I bet they have kittens or will have them very soon. They will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, wormed. There is an adoption fee which helps keep the shelter afloat :slight_smile:

Also Operation Kindness and Carrollton Shelter are very close to Dallas Makerspace too.

If anyone wants to adopt a pet now that these kittens are spoken for, @Sarah_Hustwit volunteers for a shelter and is pretty good at matching people and pets.

@TBenV and others, the adoption didn’t pan out for all three and there are two available again, a boy and a girl, almost 6 weeks old now. There’s no fee or process involved, you need to pick them up at the clinic in Coppell though. Message @Shellbell if interested!

Two of the kittens still need homes. They have had a negative fecal but no vaccines. They are about 5 weeks old now and super sweet. There is a boy and a girl. The boy has white on his stomach and feet.

For those interested; the non profit org TCAP does very low cost Spay and Neuter, plus low cost vaccinations. They have several drop-off clinic locations.

Kittens do require vaccinations to prevent FIV and other easily transmittable cat diseases.
