Kissslicer and the spaces printer configuration files

Is it possible to download a copy of Kissslicer and the configuration files the space uses?

I would like to create my g-code files at home and just use the spaces machines to print from, rather then going through the slicing operation, then printing.

If Kiss slicer isn’t available has anyone used (and willing to provide configuration files) for using Cura or Slic3r?

I believe 3DFab Committee requires you to slice the files on the DMS computers specifically set up for that, for the good of the printers.

Thanks Frank!

I am playing with the software and trying to figure out why I got a raft on the case I printed last weekend when I had the drop down box under the ‘Support’ tab for Raft Type to ‘off’. Anyone have any suggestions on how to turn of the printing of a raft? I want/need support material and a brim, but I really don’t want a raft.

Make sure there’s no little nub on the bottom surface making it un-flat.

Yep, it is a perfectly flat bottom, there are a couple of conical hole/shapes in the bottom to allow a flat head machine screw to fit flush, but no projections.

Thanks for the suggestion!

You can send me the STL if you want me to look at why.

I’ve been using the copy from Polyprinter for a week now. I haven’t printed anything using the sliced files. I am concerned because when you tell it to slice you get a bunch of error messages about missing config files. It does produce a gcode file, but not without error dialogs. So, for now at least, I am still using the fab room computers to prep the models.

The Kisslicer64.exe probably needs to be set to Run As Administrator.

(The install also needs to run as Administrator.)
