Sadly, that’s the very recently repaired kiln and a glaze load that didn’t make it even close to 6. Nothing to do for now until it makes it down and crack it open. We can re-fire the pieces but sometimes that goes funky. Fingers crossed for a good sort of funky!

I like to ride that line between ‘oh no, it’s all destruction and loss, life is over’ pessimism and ‘oh it’ll be fine, you’ll never know it even happened’ optimism. 
Setting expectations early, heh. It’ll be groovy…unless it’s not, but it most assuredly will be…probably.
