Kalamazoo Cold Cut Saw Operational?

As may be obvious from my coming back around after not being very participatory since, let’s say, the onset of COVID (and probably having visited the space only once since the expansion!), I have a project that I’m about to start tackling. One of the resources I’d like to use is the Kalamazoo FS-350SA Cold Cut Saw to cut a bunch of square tube steel to length prior to welding. The tool status board indicates that it is “temporarily out of service,” but that hasn’t been updated since about Thanksgiving 2022. Can anyone confirm that status or update it? Thanks.

I’ve used it in the last month to good effect cutting 3/8"X 1" bar, but others have claimed issues. There are enough alternatives (Metal shop bandsaw for one) that I would not sweat it.

Thanks. I’ve used band saws enough that I just love that cold cut saw when it’s blowing and going.

We put a new blade on the coldsaw earlier this week. Its working great
