K40 Laser tuning help needed

Hey Makers,

Long ago I picked up a cheap K40 laser for parts… and it was hacked up. EEEK. But, I picked up a Cohesion3D Mini for it and got it installed and the end stop problems all resolved. It’s working with Lighburn, as far as it will do the tracing of whatever it is I wish to cut. I pushed the button for the test and the laser burned right through some paper.

Now I have an exhaust fan and and air assist kit /lens ordered for it. Once that comes in and I get it installed and the water cooling set up, I’d like to see if someone would be willing to come up to Highland Village and help me with getting the mirrors and lens dialed in, and how much you’d charge.

I have a K40 with a Cohesion 3D board and can help next week. It’s pretty fiddly but can be done.
