I remind everyone that the meeting is open to any member who wants to join us. We will discuss all machine shop items/issues/concerns/ etc… Join us for dinner after the meeting if you care to as well.

We will be voting on a replacement DRO for the Shark Lathe (size 16” x 42”) if anyone would care to look for them before the meeting.

We will also be voting on a tool post grinder. This will allow us to true the jaws in the lathes. The Colchester 3 jaw has a pretty bad bell mouth/taper.

I would also like to continue some discussion towards adding a CNC Mill (Similar to a Tormach) for a lower barrier entry machine for CNC milling, geared towards getting others prepared to take the bigger step to the HAAS. Yeah there are some downsides as well, we will discuss those too.

Id like us to do a quick discussion over the Tv, IE mounting in a location in the machine shop. Then running members projects on the screen. Possibly seeing if we can do say a rolling inventory of needed items.

@TBJK Proxy for me, generally for on both the DRO and the taper grinding, unless something unexpected comes up.
