This evening as I showed the Plasmacam class how to check consumables, I was unable to remove the retaining cap from the torch handle. I asked for a volunteer with muscle and the first was unable to loosen it. Fortunately the second volunteer did it successfully. It should be hand tight but that does not mean as tight as you can get it. Just a moderate amount of force after it seats.
I have had two previous experiences when the retaining cap was reasonable but the two small bolts were entirely too tight. Be excellent to the equipment too.
