Someone broke the heat gun in electronics. I don’t know if this issue has been addresssed or not. The “ISSUE” format is what is supposed to be used instead of the old ticket system.
There is a heat gun in the workshop below the Ryobi tools that you can use. There may or may not be another one in VECTOR.

If this is the heat gun w/ yellow lettering on it - the shield on the exhaust end that keeps you from seeing the heating elements had fallen out. Otherwise still functional. If this is another heat gun, It’s not the E Lab’s.

It is the one with that lettering. But the springs and elements have fallen out of it.
Well sounds like it needs to be tossed. If someone needs one, they can use one in the shop area. Heat guns, tape measures and other tools seem to migrate to the E Lab. At some point all our philips screwdrivers disappeared.

Anyway, yes please toss the buzzer heat gun. Always freaked me out when it made a certain bench buzz when it was plugged in.
If the stuff isn’t already color coded, you should consider doing that. When I find digital calipers in the woodshop or workshop with a piece of orange tape on them for instance, I take them back to 3DFab. I can’t promise everyone will do that, but at least gives me an opportunity.
