Maybe you could take it all the way to glaze and then kintsugi it?

Would a bisque fire make the crack go all the way to the edge? So far the only idea I’ve had is filling the crack with slip.
Filling the crack with slip is one idea. I usually do that if I get cracking in the greenware stage. You may need to fill it, let it dry again, and fill it again. Keep that up until it doesn’t crack any more.
