Is there a way to direct message someone here?

Hello,

Last week I visited the Electronics Lab and met with Rich regarding a micro switch I am looking to build. He asked me to reach out to him here as the best way to get a hold of him. However, I am not sure if you can direct message here and not sure if I should post the email I drafted to him.

Any help would be appreciated it.

Chance are you haven’t built up enough “trust” on the Talk (Discourse) system to have privileges to DM someone.

To send him a DM, click on his “handle”, and it should pop up a place to send a message, which will be a direct message.

If you don’t get the option, then you haven’t read enough to have earned the DM privilege. (Talk works on a principle of “how much have you read”, rather than the “I am not a robot” things.)

If you can’t DM him, just tell him that you can’t do that here. He can then DM you (a green spot by your avatar up in the top right corner tells you that you’ve got DM’s to read).

I’m guessing you mean @ozindfw ? You can ask him to DM you.
