I am unable to find anything about Haas Training that is less than a couple of years old except the HAAS Training in 2024? thread here in Talk.
Does anybody know of any Haas training “in the works” or “coming soon”?

I believe the current status is we’re still having some issues with the MasterCAM install to get it up and stable enough to write the class material. I’m not 100% up to date on it, but that’s the last thing I heard.
I have considerable software experience, a tiny bit of machine tool experience and two days a week available (Tues/Thurs). What can I do to help this along?
The Machine Shop Committee meeting is this Saturday.

That will be a good place to meet all/most of the folks involved, and have a conversation.
Another thing to be working on while you wait, you must be signed off on the manual mill (AKA Bridgeport) before you’re allowed to take the HAAS class, so it’s a good idea to get some practice with it in because you’ll need to have some feel for what you’re asking the software to do to know if it’s sane and reasonable before hitting go.
@malcolmputer thanks, I’m in that class Saturday.
@jpattison , Little back story on the MasterCam. We bought the licenses, the intent is do that we can do the class setup once. With Fusion, things would randomly change(aside from the T&C changes). This made it difficult to gauge the tool paths & stick to a consistent curriculum The basis of this is to validate that people can follow directions as set forth in the class. That’s hard to do if you have a moving target all the time.
@TBJK thanks for the info. I intend to stay after the mill class Saturday for at least part of the committee meeting. Perhaps we could continue the conversation then?
