Due to a classroom conflict, Intro to Lasers 1 (Theory) is rescheduled for 5 P.M. to 6 P.M. on Saturday, February 7. The calender should be updated soon.
This will be a one-hour class on basic principles of laser operation, covering the basic nature of light and matter, the physics and chemistry that allows lasers to operate and the types of lasers and how they function. If you would like for me to cover any other topics in this class, please let me know in advance, though I will do my best to answer any questions in class, too.
