Interested in CNC plasma cutter class

Hi everyone,

My dad and I are interested in learning to use some of the metal working machines but, when looking for classes, I noticed there are no classes scheduled for the Plasma Cutter and all the classes for the lasers are full.

Does anyone know if there’s a class for the plasma cutter and if so, are there any prerequisites?
If not, would anyone be open to setting up a class? :pray:t2:

@Llenclyen usually will give classes on the CNC Plasma.

The prerequisite is the “Welding Safety” class that’s on Learn. https://learn.dallasmakerspace.org/login/index.php .
Or, it might still be called Hot Process Safety. As with all Learn classes, you need 100% to get the credit.

There will be a class next Friday at 7, it should pop up in the calander no later than Sunday.

Well it seems that class filled up within minutes of posting. Is it possible to sit in on the training still?
