This would be a group of like minded individuals who want to focus on how they treat themselves. I’m slipping - I’ll admit it. I’ve gained weight, I don’t move enough, and I don’t eat as well as I could. This is just an idea I was told this was tried before. I’m just seeing how many people would be interested.
I would like to create a Makerspace group to run the Turkey Trot in Dallas this year and if we start September 16th with a training program C25k (Couch to 5K) we will ready to run or walk with all the other turkeys. We could meetup and run or we could just check in every two weeks or so and see how we are doing.
We could link MyFitnessPal apps to encourage each others success.
We could also do a $5-10 in a pot weight loss goal where the leader (based on %) would win the entire thing.
Heck I dont know if this would work but Its worth shot. Let me know what you think.
