Interest in Basic Sewing class in December

I was setting up some classes, and I wanted to see if anybody wanted the basic, generic sewing class in December. Usually I include mending or making a basic tote bag as the project portion. It should be early enough that we might be able to do a quick Christmas project, but I’m not sure what folks might want for such a project.

Would this class below me learn how to do someting like cutting long sleeve off a t-shirt and gemming the shorter sleeves?

Your best bet for working with knits, like t-shirts, is the serger. I mean, we could do something with the regular machine, but it’s going to be a bit kludgy-looking. It all depends on your goals. I’m mending my knit pants with the regular sewing machine, but I’ve got low standards for the look.
