Interest Check: clean, green-cut wood shavings for Raku?

I have several bags of clean white oak shavings from a table-leveling project. Just green-cut white oak - no plywood, MDF, or other wood-like products.

Since it was cut with a router while green, it is bigger curls rather than a fine powder one might get from a saw.

Does ceramics want any/all of this for use with Raku firings? I have four bags right now, might have as many as six once done.

If ceramics doesn’t want them, science could use it for our mushroom classes.

OK.

I’ll bring them in on Sunday and drop them off in Science. If ceramics wants them they can coordinate with Science to snag some from there.
