- Arduino Basics
- Circuit Board Design
- Both!

If there is interest, I would like to teach a class in either subject! A rough outline of material is as follows:
Arduino Basics
- Uses for an Arduino (with a demonstration of a personal project!)
- Different Flavors of Arduino Boards
- Walkthrough of the hardware (Arduino Uno)
- Interfacing with the device
- Basics of programming the device (though not necessarily a class in good C++…)
No materials would be required, this would be lecture style with visual demonstrations.
Circuit Board Design
- Basics of Eagle
- Schematic Design vs Board Design
- Creating custom parts
- Trace Routing
- Gerber/g-code generation
- Sample Demonstration
Attendees would be encouraged to bring a laptop to follow along.
As a potential follow-up, I could also do a class on fabricating PCBs using our PCB Mill. This is what the g-code is used for, as opposed to just generating gerber files.
