I think (tried) to cross post to Infrastructure, but not sure if I did. When I have walkups for a class, or do one-off training, what’s the procedure for getting the proper AD fights rights added for the student?

Send a PM or email to Infrastructure with the student name, and the training provided / appropriate AD group.
Assuming it’s a regular instructor that’s usually it. If it’s not a typical instructor or a class we may ping the chair to confirm the details of what’s required / their process.
Example: The Dynatorch regularly has classes, a defined AD group, and you’re a typical instructor. It’s a no brainer.
More Unusual cases: New instructor, are they signed off to teach it? There isn’t a descriptive AD group, where’s the training documented / what AD group is it under? Member is being put into a group that has a prerequisite group they’re not in, we’ll follow up to ensure the prereq (example MIG sign off but they aren’t in welding safety group)
