The tables are made from hollow trees that have been slab cut. I would think the same thing could be accomplished with smaller hollow limbs and the hollow space filled with a tinted resin. I would fill the space first then slab it on a band saw.
if your wanting bark on it you can also check michaels or hobby lobby, i don’t remember what one it was but i know i have seen it there before.
