In need of a power supply

I’m new to the makerspace and looking for a variable voltage and current power supply. I’m looking for up to 35 volts at 1-2 amps. And ideas?

BK 9129B - this will probably do what you’re looking for. You may need to put 2 of the outputs in series to get the 35 volts. Check the manual before you try this.

Would there be any issues with a user borrowing 1 or 2 power supplies temporarily from electronics for use in the Science Lab before putting them back? We’d like to use them in the fume hood for the purposes of anodizing aluminum.

What are your voltage/current requirements?

Side Note: There have been several requests for a pwr sply w/ voltage over 35vdc and at least 1 request for up to 100vdc.
I have a Kepco JQE 100-2.5 pwr sply. 0-100vdc, 0-2.5a.
Manual can be found here: http://www.kepcopower.com/support/jqe-half-rack-op-r2.pdf
Let me if you’re interested.

The same as list above by Magik66. We’re trying to get him up and running anodizing aluminum in the fume hood.

OK. You can go with the answer above - you will need to read the manual on how to put 2 of the outputs in series to get the 35v.
Or you can use the HP 6255A. It has 2x 0-40vdc outputs and up to 1.5a
Or you can use the BK 1760 configured to give 0-60vdc and up to 2.0a. This may be the best option.
