This would also greatly knock down noise.

Unless the divider has sound management, it is a horrible idea. Having 2 conversations 10 feet apparent is completely distracting.
There is also some awkwardness for the “front” classroom, to get into that area, you have to go through the “back” classroom. That is a bit distracting too.
