It was there since at least 11 am yesterday as it was there when I got into the shop.
I got there at 9:30-10am on 6/26, and it was there when I arrived.
Just to clarify … I posted 4 pics each grabbed at ~11:30 PM starting 6/23 and ending 6/26
This is a warning … it won’t be there at 11:30 PM 6/27.
Reminds me of, “What’s in the Box!?! What’s in the Box!?!”
Damn, just realized that movie is 20 years old now.
Glad I am not the only one that references that scene.
Fun to do at work when a package is delivered, some people just think I am overly worried about hardware returns.
I do that with Amazon boxes
Used to be a far more local reference
And another spectrum… Sorry I could not resist it.
I was thinking the same thing!
Bag is full of honorarium money.
And the bag contained …
a rather nasty wet chunk of a tree that was purposely being prompted to develop mold to generate spalted wood. The owner helped relocate it to a less visually challenging location. The shop vac pieces were relocated, various tools returned to storage, a handful of misc and not obviously valuable items were taken to Lost & Found. Most of the rest when to the round filing container to my left.
More acceptable work table now available for use:
Thank you for being standout awesome.
Thank you, and I feel pretty comfortable saying anyone wanting to “intentionally force spalting” to a chunk of wood should be doing that at home, not on a table at makerspace. If that less visually challenged spot isn’t personal storage it should go in the garbage.
The telescreen appreciates it when you break the 4th wall.
