If I just buy the wood shop a new drum sander can it just be repaid by waiving monthly dues

If I purchace the shop a new drum sander(no I don’t want a donation write off slip for how I’d make this work, both my senior excise and income tax managers agree it’s doable) but can the balance just be slowly repaid (yes calcualting depreciation) as I wouldn’t owe monthly dues until the balance is null?
My Way of financially doing this both He excise and her income both agree it’s perfectly within compliance sales and use manager was on vacation so didn’t run it by her
So it would be a acquired tangible assets for 0$ not a donation. So it would have to be listed as bpp but wouldn’t change the taxes it just wouldn’t be a donation

Nope. Our accounting system is too barebones for that kind of transaction.

Nope. You can donate a sander and take that as a tax deduction (assuming the woodshop is good with accepting it). You can lend the shop a sander and take it back whenever you like (assuming the woodshop is good with accepting it). Or the woodshop can buy a sander as they see fit and you can use it with your membership.

Don’t cross the streams.

So two freight quotes ones 745.86 and they’ll put it on the loading lift then say sign goodbye. The other will put it on the lift use their equipment to basically put it in the general area of the woodwhop in the shipping crate then it’s up to us from there that ones 1345.89+ fees if our lack of making access delays work or any unforeseen thing not liable to them will get fees per hour over!
Are these cost dms would be willing to facilitate and budget for as the machine wouldn’t be have to be paid for! Also both said a crew of 4-7 men at varying points of the operation plus Foreman so I don’t know add like 200$ but for cold.sodas.and waters and a couple pizzas

Fyi quotes are from 3rd party companies as I imagine the manufacturer shows up with a truck and expected you to unloaded it which I don’t think we have a forklift. Or will basically place it in the parking lot and say delivered

Buddy, where are you buying Pizza from? LOL

One of the only two decent pizza places in Texas, Zalat or Cane Rosso, lol!

I mean, that’s still basically a large pie for every guy who helps out, with about $30 left over. Even accounting for delivery.

Also, where’s the love for pizza hag?

I know I can eat a full Cane Russo pizza by myself, lol!

I don’t know if I’ve ever had pizza hag or if I had in my subconscious blocked the memory of it…

I do recommend it. It’s actually pretty good the nice thick crest, really good cheese, and they don’t skimp on the toppings

Ya kind of lost me at thick crust…

Ah, pizza! Another topic as volatile as religion, politics, or car marques.

I would have offered Cavalli’s, but last time I was there they had moved from fresh mozzarella to shredded/processed stuff. Dunno if that is a transient supply chain issue or something more sinister. The meatball Parmesan is still great.

Don’t know sorry was focused on working the finances of purchasing the 3800$ machine through my LLC but being able to write off 100% of it not just 25% and then getting logistics quotes for transport! But no lets zone in focus on the pizza, should we eliminate toppings to save cost? Are the toppings considered tangible assets or can they be a full 100% write off under another classification for small business? Let’s really hammer out this pizza portion of this taxable vs full deduction financial model!
What’s you’re take on this am I going to have to list it when I file? What’s the depreciation model your expecting year by year

Sweet. So 100% deductable? Or 25% also what’s the depreciation on an asset such as that or would this not be a tangible assets therefor I’d have to list under one of the other 2 categories which on of the 3 should I list it under?

Please Mind the GAAP.

Umm have you even asked the chair about accepting the “donation” you are contemplating?

What sander are you thinking of? Like for like?

If it’s like for like, there is a good chance it will be broken quickly. Then we or you are back to square one.

Warranty and regularly available parts, and is the board changing to donation policy to needing approval I don’t see any by laws saying donations are subject to such oversight
