If DMS had "maker-olympics" what would they be?

Like if we tried to get some contests at the picnic what could they be?
Ready set go…

Lifting a trash can full of sawdust over your head and dumping it! Points off for getting any on yourself!

Bonus points if you dont let go of the can and have to awkwardly fish it out of the dumpster.

And we need a bunch of big fans to make sure it’s windy when you’re dumping it!

Ok, a serious answer - A making contest!

We put together some kind of parts kit(s) like they give kids who are doing Destination Imagination. Contents are secret until they’re handed out… 24 hours before the picnic. Assemble a jury of the most biased minds at DMS to judge them; seven judges, throw out the highest (American judge) and lowest (Russian) scores. Contestants (teams?) can build whatever they want but all work must be done at DMS.

Probably have to charge a fee to enter (to pay for the stuff that goes into the kits)

Or a sack race. Yeah, a sack race is good.

Wanna work on this with me? I like it.

Gauntlet of tasks from each of the areas…pictionary for CA, parts assembly for machine, routing maze for woodshop etc.

I can help with brainstorming for sure, probably shopping. I’m not in town for the picnic however or the week before.

Ooh … a giant Operation game! I guess explosives in lieu of buzzer is too far…

Unfortunately, we have so many pre-qualified competitors.
