Ideas for Art in 2017

Let me know of any art ideas you’d like to try out in 2017. Last year we did several things and I hope you all had some good times.

Some things I’m considering hosting this year and possibly getting someone else to teach or co-host.

Life Drawing (nude or costumed models hired to pose)
Artist Are Models Too (the artist who attend will pose as well, non-nude)
Painting With Gina (learn how to paint with acrylic)
Watercolor Painting
Collabordraw (artists draw on the same piece)
Photoshop Pin-up With Jose Ramirez
Photoshop Basics
Illustrator Basics
Drawing Basics (draw a cadaver like sculpture, art study from art books, etc)
Learn Inking
Anti Super Bowl Clay Sculpture Season 3
Zoo Art Crawl at Fort Worth Zoo.
Zoo Art Crawl anywhere that may be interesting.

Some things that may be interesting but may require lots of commitment.
Finish the Coloring Book Illustrations.
A Digital Short Animation (like really short no more that 2 minutes)
A short sketch book collection of the Artist’s works (this may be more of a Drink and Draw book or Makerspace than random local Dallas artists) Profits would go to funding future events.

I’d enjoy clay sculpting and Painting with Gina.

One of the things I want to accomplish once the photo printers are back in our lives is to print to canvas and then overpaint. I think the finished product could be glorious, but I really need a better understanding of what acrylics can do before I dig in.

I would really enjoy more Adobe Illustrator classes, since vector design has many applications in the space. Mostly I use Inkscape, but it has its limits, so I would like to explore Illustrator in depth.

Thanks for organizing classes. The other classes look awesome, too!
