I’m all for thinking of ways to make things more interesting especially at it comes at a low cost and can show off what we do. In light of people wanting to put up artwork around the space it might be interesting to have an idea dumping ground. So here it is.
Something simple to show off different species of wood wood (see what I did) be cool. This was a ladder in a kids playground. We could think of better ways to use it.
I would say our most creative outlet is currently the 10x10s. I’m always amazed what can be squeezed in that space. Unfortunately it is only filled in the two hallways between the galley and the south workshop. Lets fill up more wall space.
I would love to see it go bigger - 24x24? and extend into the classrooms. maybe some shelving to display more bulky items (think woodturnings, sculptures, ceramics, armor, etc).
