Casting is a new area for jewelry and we are ironing out issues, )like blowing a

I do some casting classes but got sidetracked from my expected schedule so the classes got pushed out a few weeks. If you are interested in casting I sometimes am there Fridays in the daytime if my flexible work schedule doesn’t ask me to work. Then I’ll do a day on Saturday or Sunday. Right now I’m getting waxes made for lost wax casting but might be persuaded to do some sand casting sometime.

I am a model rail-roader and can use some help with some investment casting projects.
Cast parts will be from both free machining or leaded brass and nickel-silver.
Is it possible to create wax patterns direct on our 3-D printers?
I will also be creating patterns and/or molds in our machine shop. I need assistance calculating exact shrinkage suitable to our equipment.
Are we also sand casting?
