Hey all!
The repairs on the HP 6255A Power Supply are done! The left channel is now back in service and it’s on the top shelf of the rack to the left of the door as you walk into the Electronics Lab.
It had a failed 500 ohm 10 watt resistor and I ran a radio for 3 hours in the shop last night to burn it in before bringing it back.
It’s a dual output 0-40v, 0-1.5A power supply. You DO need to turn the current control to the right to get anything out of the supply since you can limit both current and voltage with it.
