How to successfully get help on your project/concept

The BEST and FASTEST way. Provide the most detailed description (drawings, functional specifications, etc) you can of what you need done and expect to pay MARKET rates for your work!

This will get you PROFESSIONAL help (ie, people who make a living getting paid to do the work you want) for your project.

OK, for the 99.999% of the rest of you.

  1. Put your project and all requests on hold
  2. Join the Makerspace
  3. Volunteer to help out
  4. Get to know people
  5. Ask people with the skills you want what your project will entail for someone who knows how to do the work.
  6. After you have spent some time getting to know people and letting people get to know that your a member of the community (rather then someone looking for free work for your money making project), ask around for the help you need (providing the information mentioned above).
