I started to use the metal bandsaw last night to cut some aluminum for a project and noticed a sign that indicates training is required. I’ve used metal bandsaws many times, but I would like to know what training is needed before using the bandsaw and how to obtain it?

The band saw training will be included he Intro to Machine Shop course to start in December.
