How to avoid table saw kickbacks #safety

Here’s a video about common practices that can cause kickbacks on the table saw and how to avoid them. It’s short, sweet, and to the point, and well worth watching, even for seasoned woodworkers.

Be careful out there!

Thank you, @nicksilva. I hope it makes people think about their technique and how they position their boards and push sticks and fence to avoid unnecessary accidents.

I think the presenter did a really good job explaining and demonstrating the physics of how the position of our boards, push sticks, fences and sleds makes them move on the table saw, and also best practices for what to do instead.

The one photo of the spike going through the wall made me shudder - that could’ve been a person that got hit.
