How to access member's drive remotely

Hello,

How can i access Member’s drive remotely to put files in so i can access them when i get to DMS. I don’t have a flash drive. So i want to know how to remotely dump my files on Member’s drive.

Thank you in advance.

1 - Use Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.

2 - Get access to the jump server (physical.dallasmakerspace.org)

3 - Buy a flash drive (~$7):

Github is a good choice if versioning is important.

A follow-up to that one… With Windows you can freely copy-then-paste from local storage to the jump server. I suspect the convenience is also high with Linux.

This may help…

Hello,
I am trying to access DMS serve which you have listed above…it keeps giving me this eror message. What should i do?

It looks like you’re trying to use a browser.

Since you’re on a mac you want to follow these instructions.

How do I use RDP from Mac OSX?

  1. Download ‘Microsoft Remote Desktop’ from the Apple App Store
  2. Launch the app by clicking on the “Microsoft Remote Desktop” icon, in application menu.
  3. Configure (or select, if already configured) the session you wish to connect to (in this case: physical.dallasmakerspace.org)
  4. Log in with DMS.LOCAL domain account (format: dms\username ).

Click Advanced, there should be an option there to continue anyways.
