Long term NSAID usage can be bad for your liver and kidneys as well.
Ulcerations can be caused by any number of things. Physical abrasion, bacteria, viruses. Stress can lower the immune response to such pathogens but is not the primary cause of the ulceration itself.
Hey Tim…things going well, esp. since heat has finally broken. I’ve been meaning to repair about 40 ft of expansion joints in my sidewalks, walkways and driveway, refresh the insulation in my attic, and change out my water heater for some time now – it’s 20 years old, also in attic…stoopid home builders – so been waiting until the temps dropped to reasonable levels. It’s times like these I wish we were married. Actually, that’s most of the time…you’re a catch!
Also, while I have your attention:
Quit bragging, He-Man…or at least put down the can of spinach :–)
I had a friend buy a stupid expensive house for a single guy. It was 2 1/2 stories with the water heater in the attic. Needless to say the expansion valve burst wide open and flooded several stories going right down his beautiful winding staircase. I think he said the damage was more than 70 grand. The house was only 2 years old.
Funny you say that. I never really thought my forearms were as big as they were. A guy I have been working with had to reach into a peckerhead(motor terminal box) because my forearms were too big.
I thought his forearms were about the same size as mine.
