I bought one from Ikea and threw it in but still haven’t paid, where/how do I pay for my storage tub?
what i was told to do was put it in an envelope with my info on it and tape it to the tub place the tub with the others done and done
As the volunteer who more or less manages the personal storage tubs, here’s what I would like:
An envelope attached to the outside of your bin facing outward with your name written on it.
Sealed inside said envelope:
$20 in either cash or a check made out to DMS.
A note with your name as it registered for your membership, and if appropriate the nickname/other name that you prefer. (For example, I am Juliette Kriehn in the system, but go by Judy Kriehn.)
An email address where you can be reached if your membership lapses and I have to evict you. I’d prefer to contact you to see what you want done with the bin contents.
If you are an “add-on” member, the name of the person your membership is attached to.
I use the above info to put into my excel spreadsheet of bin occupants and “audit” when the mood strikes. Which hasn’t been often in the last year, since arranging for people to retrieve their left-behind stuff is not something I care to deal with.

sounds good! There will be an envelope there Friday. Gotta go get my vaccine tomorrow so won’t likely make it down
