Houston Makerspace Event at TX/RX on April 19th

I got notice of this event today.

Dear Friends of TXRX Labs,

TXRX Labs’ invites you to attend Houston’s Equitable Innovation Conference.

Houston has long been a vibrant manufacturing and industrial center that has been a catalyst for medical, aerospace, and energy advancements. As the city redefines innovation to meet 21st-century demands, there must be an intentional focus on creating an innovation ecosystem that mirrors Houston’s assets. This conference will bring speakers and thought leaders from around the U.S. to share strategies in education, innovation, and economic development, that support equitable growth for manufacturers and entrepreneurs. Speakers include Tanu Kumar, Eric Strickland, Emile Cambry, and Dave McFadden.

The conference is being hosted at the United Way of Greater Houston on Thursday, April 19, 2018.

The conference is sponsored by University of Houston-Downtown, Greater Houston Partnership-Upskill Houston, Houston Exponential, Rice University’s Kinder Institute, Buffalo Bayou Partnership, The Village School, and the Urban Manufacturing Alliance.
