Hot knife for rope cutting

Does the space have a hot knife / cutter for making nice cuts to synthetic rope? Something like this:

If you’re not doing it very often, I’ve used a butane torch and a (metal) putty knife. Get the putty knife extremely hot and cut the rope. If you get any fraying that needs to be cleaned up, fuse them together with the torch.

Yeah, ended up heating an old hacksaw blade with the blowtorch to refinish the ends of about 20 lines.

Thanks!
