Please provide more info on how Honorariums are now being paid. I missed seeing a notice on the change.
Someone was telling me they were filling out the info and was required to provide personal banking info. Will this still be paid by check or is this direct deposit?
There is some confusion if this is check why is banking info requested.
Thank you

So, if you haven’t filled out the form for direct deposit, then you’ll get a check. The check will come with info about how to fill out the direct deposit and sign-up thing.
If you’ve received honorariums in the past, you’ll have an email. It was a couple of months back though.
Checked my email, I did not receive an email invite to biills.com. does that mean I set my classes the old way?
The new payment thing doesn’t make any difference to how the honorarium is paid. So set up your classes just like you always have.
Here’s the new process:
- Nothing has changed on the calendar, same submit/approval process etc.
- Our bookkeepers will pull the honorarium report every week, which lists the eligible classes and provides names and emails of who to pay
- For teachers who haven’t been paid by the new process yet, they’ll send an email invite out from bill.com, and the teacher will need to setup an account (either for ACH or physical checks)
- They’ll then set the payments up for each teacher, which will route to the treasurer for approval
- Once the treasurer approves, the payment is issued by Bill.com on our behalf
TLDR; You’ll get an email from Bill.com about a week after you teach a class, follow the instructions in there to setup an account and then you’ll be paid.

BTW. I have never received an email from bill.com even though I’ve taught a lot of classes. How would I get an account?
