Holiday Decor Ideas

I wasn’t at a meeting and therefore I was given the task of decorating all of makerspace for December. Thanks @Team_PR

  1. Can someone or a team of people be willing to make something like this for the front lobby?

@Team_Electronics you know you love it.

  2. Non-specific holiday trees. @Committee_Chairs I’m going to give you till December 5th to come up with a unique, inventive, maker specific tree for your area. If you aren’t able to get it done I’ll look at buying you guys plants that will be decorated by your committee as you wish. I personally love the “creative tree” approach.

  3. I’m going to buy and give them out to people to make something within. More on this later.

While everything after dismantling the conventional bulbs and glueing the gutted bulb to the plastic base pretty much whizzed right over my head, I’m down for the bulb dismantlement part of the equation.

I will straight veto anything that involves glitter. I still have traumatic memories of glitter tool shedding layers of glitter everywhere in the house growing up.

It’s the herpes of the craft world for a reason.

Y’know… now you’ve just encouraged @uglyknees to do some serious glitter bombing in your honor, don’t you?

I haven’t been to the space for a while, but saw this goody today. The jaunty angle of the hat reminded me of the grinch.
