Sometimes you have to get way out of the box to hold down difficult shapes on the Multicam. The center and two leaves of this table top had to be flattened. All had things protruding from the back, so they couldn’t be held by the table vacuum. I solved this dilemma by using ratchet straps to clamp a blocking board at one end and beyond the travel of the gantry. Then I used more ratchet straps to squeeze the parts together and against the blocking board. By making shallow cuts, I was able to surface the top of all three pieces at the same time.
