One of the things I’d like to see as part of the amateur radio station at DMS is a directional antenna.
If we could build a base for one, I think one of the hexbeam or spiderbeam antennas would be a good choice. Last time I looked, an all band version kit was $5-600.
Positioned out in the center of the roof, and not on a very tall mast, it should be a relatively unobtrusive antenna.
