He's Dead Jim: T962 Reflow Oven

Not really dead: It powers up and shows the default menu on the display, but it’s not responsive to the keyboard. .

I tore into it and it looks like the keyboard is good, but I didn’t get a chance to get much further than that. Didn’t get a scope out to see if the processor is active or hung.

Someone else has been into it - half the back panel screws are missing.

I needs most of the common mods - like getting rid of the stinky masking tape and additional thermocouples and cold junction measurements. . I seems to be in generally good shape otherwise.

Has the reflow oven magically come to life - likely due to your magical efforts?
Or does anyone have a reflow oven I can borrow for a day, or have access to for a few hours?

I need to bake the main board for a Samsung 75" QLED TV. My last attempt at this for an LG TV was successful using my unmodified electronic toaster oven.

The concern is the wild temp swings of the toaster oven, mainly the overshoot. Don’t want to melt any of the plastic parts of the components. For the LG soak I had to do a bunch of characterization to find a safe operation range that wouldn’t melt my components, before soaked the board. I have notes with the measured vs. set temps, so I can limp by with the toaster oven.
