Hello,
I want to sign up for the lathe class on bowl turning on Tuesday night but my lathe prereq class is Monday night. Can someone please help me bypass the requirement and register for the Tuesday night class given that the prereq will have been satisfied by then?

This is not a team infra fix. There is no simple fix.
Really have to kick this back to the committees and instructors. Metal shop has worked out methods for dealing with this very situation with the Hot Processes vs. anything else classes. Typically this looks like “ask for variance from the instructor of the latter, and they typically will work with you”. Other methods include “sorry bud; ya gotta get one, and then sign up for the other”. A third method is to make the second “with instructor approval” and then check that the potential is enroled in the former before admitting to the latter. I am certain there are other solutions wherein Infra does not solely hold the keys. As Freddy says, our toolkit contains no simple fixes for this situation.
